Insight Data launched in 2006 as a specialist provider of prospect data, providing companies with in-depth information to help target new customers.
Teams of researchers continuously telephone interview and verify vital contact and business information about fabricators, installers, builders, architects and contractors, and this information is fed directly into Salestracker, the world’s first live prospect database.
Users simply log-on to Salestracker and instantly create targeted data lists for direct mail, email marketing, telesales or as a contact list for their sales team, knowing that the data will always be up to date.
Salestracker can be used by management, marketing teams and sales people at the office, at home or on the road, using laptops or iPads.
Product ranges
In 2006 Insight Data launched the UK fabricator and Installer database, with detailed information about the window, door and conservatory industry.
Today, the database contains 14,300 companies that sell, manufacture or buy-in windows, doors, composite doors, conservatory roofs, roofline, glass and much more.
The database provides market intelligence about materials used (eg PVC-U, aluminium, timber), preferred supplier brands (profiles used) and even product volumes.
Contact data is constantly verified so users are always targeting the right contacts within companies, and the database has over 13,000 verified email addresses – the largest of its kind in Europe.
New databases
In 2010 Insight Data rolled out a number of new prospect databases to help companies exploit the trade, commercial and new-build markets.
This included the UK’s most accurate database of architects active in design and specification of construction projects, with over 15,000 contacts and email addresses – ideal for companies to strengthen their position in the commercial and new-build sectors.
This was followed by the first ever ‘small builders database’ where users could target 22,000 local builders and ‘white van man’. This database has proved highly successful for trade-counter businesses and retail installers wanting to expand. It is also the largest database of small builder email contacts, with over 10,000 constantly updated addresses.
In 2011 Insight launched two new building industry databases – House Builders and Main Contractors. These databases open up the commercial and new-build market for window and door suppliers, enabling companies to target larger volume customers.
Salestracker
All Insight databases are available on Salestracker, the online software from Insight Data, with over 60,000 potential customers to target. Data is continuously updated live in real-time to give Salestracker users a competitive advantage.
Salestracker also incorporates an award-winning, powerful CRM system that enables users to track leads, manage customers and drive sales and marketing activity, fully accessible from any internet enabled computer, laptop or mobile device. It is also used extensively by telesales teams for lead generation.
Users can attach documents (call reports, quotes, letters, etc) and set tasks and reminder follow-ups.
Services and support
Insight Data has a dedicated customer support team who provide ‘best practice’ advice on using data, along with full Salestracker support. This includes training on getting the most from the system, with on-site training available for marketing, sales and telesales teams.
For companies who don’t have the resources internally, Insight also provides a full email marketing and direct mail design and fulfillment service, working seamlessly with customers to generate new business enquiries.
