For the third year in a row Insight Data have proudly participated in Football Shirt Friday to help raise awareness and funding for charity.
This year’s Bobby Moore fund “Football Shirt Friday” was held on Friday 22ND April, with the aim to spread awareness and raise funding for the research of cures for the deadly disease that is bowel cancer.
The fourth annual Football Shirt Friday asks people to wear their colours and donate £2 for vital research into the disease which took Bobby’s life in 1993, at the age of 51.
The inspiration for the campaign comes from the image of Bobby swapping shirts with Pele in 1970.
Insight Data strongly believe in charitable events and functions and the team were more than happy to participate for the 3rd year running, raising a total of £128.00 for the charity.
Helen Costeloe-Hughes, Commercial Director at Insight Data commented; “Insight have participated in multiple charitable events throughout the years and Football shirt Friday is a favourite. It gives the staff a chance to have a bit of fun with each other, but also support a meaningful cause at the same time. Just knowing that we are making a slight difference to the future of the charity and helping to find cures is very satisfactory and we will continue to support this in the future.”
Insight Data, who specialise in providing prospect marketing data for the fenestration and construction industry, are planning to do more charity events in the future.
Jade Greenhow, Operations Manager commented; “Since I have been at Insight we have continued to support charities and I see no sign of that stopping in the future, after all such a small amount of money can make such a big difference. I think it is vital to give something back and help people that haven’t been as fortunate as ourselves.”
